I am writing at the end of our daughter's first year of high school to let you know what a terrific thing you did helping her. She had a fantastic year in science, in Level A (which her 8th grade teacher did not recommend). Her teacher is one of the best teachers she has had and that helped to continue her love of learning that you instilled in her. She has also done very well; I believe she still has an A in the class. But, most importantly, she loves the study of science and she gained enough self-confidence to do her best. In fact, I believe that next year she will elect to take the 3-year science project program at Staples. She isn't sure what the focus of the study will be; probably somewhere in the social sciences.
That is a long-winded way of saying thank you for what you did last year. We sincerely appreciate your involvement in providing our daughter with the confidence to believe in her capabilities. The H. family, Westport
We originally contacted Amy to help teach our oldest child organizational skills. Over the past seven years Amy has tutored all three of my children in math, language arts, Spanish, science and more. There seems to be no subject in which she is not skilled and a great teacher. She has contributed enormously to the success in school of all three children. Thank goodness we found her when we did.
